I can't believe I did that

Stoney Ridge Farm

I completed by Sunday post and then inadvertently posted it on my other blog, and when I deleted it from that one, I could not get it back to post it here.

So, here I am with egg on my face, nothing to post, and I think I really need a cup of coffee. I'm sorry!!!

  4. Sure am sorry about that DJan, I feel your pain. I did something similar some years back and ever since then, have used an offline editor to write my blogs. But I both like & envy your plucky attitude. Hope all is well with yourself & SG. :^)

  5. Oops. I have done similar things.
    Have a great week,

  6. I'm laughing, DJan... not that it's funny. It's frustrating. But it's happened to all of us at one time or another. Once I lost the ending chapters of a story... (not even something I published, just something I wrote) and I was devastated. I actually cried. But it's not the end of the world. We live to write again...

  7. Stuff like that is reassuring to someone like me. I spent an afternoon running an import of my graphics and since I post on our local gardening FB page I find that my graphics which are created through Powerpoint cannot be accessed except as .jpgs. Odd because I was sure I had folder for both versions .jpg and .ppt...Oh well. I will just make more tea.

  9. I did that a time or two, when I had two blogs. Now I've combined them, not for that reason, but it certainly simplifies life to know which blog you're in.
And the writing you lose always seems like some of the best material you've ever written!

  10. Technology nightmares - I have had my share. Today I did something worse. I am supposed to use an injection for my diabetes med. Today I pressed the needle end against my skin and pushed the other end. I did not feel the needle prick. I looked and found I had not removed the cover off the needle end. I had injected the medicine into the cover and when I removed the cover, my expensive med flew into the air.
I sympathize and look forward to next Sunday's post.

  11. Hi DJan, Look at all the comments above and, yes, it's happened to me too. So frustrating. The bottom line is we will all be eager to see your post next Sunday! :-) Now, a special thank you for telling me about "The Magician of Lhasa". My next stop is Amazon where I will add it to my Kindle. It is delighting me what I'm learning about Tibetan Buddhism. Thank you so much! See you next week! :-)

  12. It's a bummer when that happens. You put a lot of effort into that post so it's sad to lose it.

  13. That's alright. I just tried to heat up a frozen pizza, but I put it in the bottom oven and turned on the top oven.
